The Financial Professional Associate position is a sales position with Prudential Advisors selling insurance and financial services. Financial Professional Associates participate in a comprehensive development program, developing product knowledge, and selling experience while offering appropriate insurance and investment products to help clients meet their financial goals.
The Director – Midwest Region is responsible for growing, managing, and retaining all sales activities within a 14 state territory. The Director will promote and wholesale Great Lakes Advisors separately managed accounts and mutual funds to financial advisors in the wire house, independent, and RIA channels.
As a member of our sales team, the primary responsibility of the Internal Sales Consultant (ISC) is to promote and sell Great Lakes Advisors investment products through financial advisors and working closely with the external Directors. Candidates must be proven self-starters who have a strong desire to succeed and to achieve goals in a timely manner.
Act as a resource for the consideration and review of legal issues relating to matters and projects in the US. Work as part of internal and external legal project teams as needed. Review investment management agreements, third party service agreements, private placement documentation and other legal documents as necessary. Develop an appropriate level of knowledge of the relevant legal requirements affecting ASI’s activities in the Americas.
Direct all aspects of the 1940 Act Funds (Funds) tax matters. Coordination and oversight of the 3rd party tax service provider utilized by the Funds. Act as primary tax liaison with outside tax advisors, consultants, auditors, and fund administrators. Keep current on emerging tax issues that impact the Funds, actively participate in the industry. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that the tax issues, policies and guidelines are understood and implemented correctly.

We work each day to identify retiring men and women from their service of our country and create a guide path for them to enter the financial services industry. Many investment firms look to hire ex-military for their discipline and patriotism. We make that process easier by training and developing these future leaders.
